DAY 1
In the afternoon, the group will meet at Gabanel Bike Hostel. After the bike fitting and tour briefing, a convivial dinner will follow, and we will stay overnight at the hostel.
DAY 2
The day will start with a delicious breakfast at Gabanel before heading towards Verona, following the waters of the Biffis Canal to the banks of the Adige River. Upon arrival in the city, a guide will lead the group to discover Castelvecchio and the Scaliger Tombs, two of the most iconic monuments from the Scaliger era. Climbing up the Torricelle hills, we will reach Castel San Pietro, where we can enjoy one of the most beautiful and iconic views over Verona.
After a delightful lunch break at Pizzeria Berberè, the route will resume in the early afternoon towards the Adige South Park, ending at Villa Buri, a historic building dating back to the early 1600s, now managed by the Villa Buri Onlus Association. The day will conclude with dinner and an overnight stay.
Focus: Scaliger monuments in Verona (Castelvecchio, Scaliger Tombs, Castel San Pietro). Scenic route along the canal to Verona.

DAY 3
After waking up at Villa Buri, we will start cycling towards the village of Soave, initially following the cycle path along the Adige River before immersing ourselves in apple, kiwi, and grape vineyards.
We will then reach Zevio, where we can have lunch and admire Villa Sagramoso, a medieval structure transformed into a villa in the 18th century by the Sagramoso family, one of Verona’s oldest and most powerful dynasties. Passing through Belfiore, we will take a detour to visit the Church of San Michele, also known as the Sanctuary of Madonna della Strà, a small Romanesque architectural gem dating back to 1143.
Finally, from Belfiore, passing through the hamlet of Castelletto—offering stunning views of the renowned Soave wine hills—we will reach the charming medieval village of Soave, dominated by one of the most beautiful Scaliger fortresses in Veneto.

The Scaliger castle in Soave, formerly owned by the Della Scala family, is a fortification that has marked the history of the town in the province of Verona. Having fallen into a state of neglect after being reduced to a farm, it was restored in 1890 by Kingdom Senator Giulio Camuzzoni - mayor of Verona from 1867 to 1883 - who became its owner. It can be reached on foot from Piazza Antenna or by taking the paved road that climbs north of the village.
Castelvecchio, originally called the castle of San Martino in Aquaro, is a medieval fort located in the historic center of Verona currently used as the home of the civic museum of the same name; it is the most important military monument of the Scaliger seigniory.
The village is famous for its wine and Scaliger-era castle, making it an ideal destination for an excursion
