Peculiar little church, nestled in greenery on a small hillock. Rebuilt after the 1117 earthquake on the ruins of an earlier church, the parish church has valuable frescoes inside ( the oldest date back to the year 1000!) Surrounded by the bell tower and cemetery, it was the place where the bishop of Verona, San Zeno, came to celebrate mass and evangelize. The association La Torre di Palazzolo takes care of the parish church! Guided tours are organized from March to November on these two days: - the first Saturday of the month at 4 p.m. - every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. During the summer season, concerts and poetry evenings are organized inside!
Thirteenth-century tower, built by the lords of Verona “Della Scala,” reached in the beautiful center of Palazzolo. Seventeen meters high, crenellated, with nine bells and two clocks. Even today its bells are still rung by the village's group of bell ringers.
“COLLE D’ORO SUL LAGO”
A young family business that, with passion and commitment, implements the knowledge acquired over the years and passed down from the parents.
It mainly produces Italian extra virgin olive oil and extra virgin olive oil-based condiments with lemons, basil, rosemary and chili peppers.
Small quantities of kiwi, blackberry and rose jams, dehydrated kiwifruit, sweet and sour preserves, pickles and pickles are also produced on the farm.
Their strength is the tastings that highlight the quality of local products combined with the strictly homegrown oil
